SUMMARY:Aghill Beg Climb Weekend
DESCRIPTION:This will be an exploratory visit to Achill Beg on the weekend of August 9th\,10th\,11th.  The organiser is  club member Paddy O’Brien.  One climb was recorded\, a 3 pitch E1 led by Tom Ryan in the 90’s. The plan is to travel over to the island on Friday using a local with a rib and return on Sunday. On that weekend  there will be some entertainment as there is a local music festival  on the island between mid morning and late afternoon on Saturday\, two temporary inflatable pubs will be there. A local l has been very helpful recommending a place for camping and access to water. Everything else will have to be brought over. \nPlease let  club member Paddy O’Brien know if you are interested ( pjcobrien@yahoo.ie). He is travelling with Club member Frank Nugent.
