Skildren Mor and Belshade

After an uneventful start to the Sunday mornin of the climbfest, a decision was made to try and get onto the sea stack at Malin via the use of Alan,s "inflatable". An assault was made on the stook by myself, Iain Miller, Chris McDaid, Valli, George and Rosie. After gettin across Chris, Iain and Rosie did Forever Young, a fine lookin HS/VS, George and Valli did the second ascent of Tales from the Abyss E1 and also Phoenix. Then myself and George did the second ascent of Pete Coopers Muintear na Meara E1, great route with nice finishing moves...though hardly a touch on Tales from the Abyss...On the customary swim back to the mainland I found myself gettin rolled over the rocks by the lowering swell, tricky getting landed. On Monday a charge was made by myself and Valli for Lough Belshade walking in via the Glascairns hill side (Note: Coillte have a gate down on the usual Northern road so we had to go round the other side to park next to the Glascairns slab area). Classical Revival HVS was done, with great climbin on the last two pitches followed by a trek out again in an absolute stunning sunny evenin.
