Tower Ridge

A glorious St. Patricks Day was enjoyed by Bill and myself on Tower Ridge, Ben Nevis. With blue skies and glorious (but variable) snow conditions, and only one other party of two on the route. It took about 5 hours, and dickhead here dropped his ice hammer at Tower Gap, so the next day was spent, unsuccessfully, looking for it! Donna and Sandra did Number Two Gully, which they described as icy and thin. The rest were in the Mamores, where P.J. soloed Devils Ridge. Day two, Donna & Sandra were skiing, Bill and self scouring the Coire Leis for dead climbers with a Charlot Moser sticking out of their head, and the rest were in the Aonachs. Day three, there were some softies who went to the climbing wall, but those who were real outdoor types, were stumbling around in the Easons (no not the shop). Great weather, great trip!
