Dunmore Head/ Dunseverick/ Mussenden

Date: Various
Submitted by: Rodders

Julie and me took a trip to Dunmore head on sat where we met George and his mate from bangor who where busy despatching most of the routes at the crag up to E1 with relative ease.

I led Orange Blossom HS for the umteenth time, followed by Julie in her new Sunglasses and then Led Master of Puppets HVS 5b. Unfortunately while Julie was  following both ropes stuck in the crack that runs through the roof so George Kindly abbed down and freed the ropes allowing me to lower Julie, whod had enough exitement for one day, to the ground. Cheers again George.

Me and Julie have also been sporadically climbing @ Dunseveric over the last month or so, Mostly with the Ballymoney based climbing legend Al Millar and his fiance Julie. Haven't done anything off much note but I would say this is a very pleasant crag with some very good routes especially in the lower grades, although theres probably more potential in the harder grades for bold climbers out there and certainly routes waiting to be repeated.

Apart from a couple of sessions bouldering @ mussenden temple thats about it. Not very impressive for this time of year especially with all this sunshine. Whats everyone else been up to?
