Ladhar Beinn

Staying in Inverie, Knoydart, over Hogmany, a group of seven of us climbed Ladhar Beinn, the mighty and remote monarch of the area.  Very dramatic in its winter plumage, it was a fairly major undertaking by the, possibly ambitious, route we chose, and took 10 hours, with only a 15 minute break for lunch, and included a river crossing, as the bridge had been swept away.  Anyway, it was brilliant, and congratulations in particular to Alastair, who was unwise enough to go with us, for his first Munroe experience, and who was still first back to the pub!!!
