The stunning Belmullet peninsula is the venue for this Colmcille climbing weekend meet in Mayo.  Paddy O’Brien led a joint CCC and IMC meet there in August last year and many new routes were climbed ranging from V Diff to HVS. All attending agreed it to be a superb location. Paddy noted “This bay on the NW side of the peninsula makes a great base, quiet, level parking, some camping space and a calm sheltered bay for swimming with ever changing views. The crags are 1km north at Dún na mBó and are reached by just 10 to 15min pleasant walk from the upper car park.”
