Directions: There are 2 beautiful beaches, the climbing is on the southern one, reached by a walk over the grassy headland near Murder Hole. At the left end of the beach (looking out to sea) is an obvious corner. There is a slabby section of rock right of this and a short square-cut arete left. Length: 10m Nick Taylor on-sight 6/8/06 The lower arete is climbed on its left side with tricky moves via an obvious slot at 3m, then good protection.Swing onto the right side of the arete and up to a resting ledge thenpull through a small overhang above. Lower-off sling in-situ. A short but pleasant technical route on perfect rock. View Route Edit Route Upload a new photo for this route | |||
1a - Big Green Sling
Length: 20m Unknown At the very end of Boyeeghter Strand (South End) there is an obvious crack on the wall directly in front of you as you walk across the beach. Climb this crack for about 12 metres and then go out left passed a big block with a good exit onto the slab above. View Route Edit Route Upload a new photo for this route |
