Double Whymper (& Chips)

Location: Lough Belshade, Red Gully
Grade: S  4a
Length: 15m
First ascent: Alan Tees, Michael ?, Valli Schaffer 26/05/07
Route Description:
Lower down the gully there is an impressive wall with a pillar/corner on its right hand side. There are two sets of attractive cracks high on this wall. This route starts below the right set of cracks, goes less than half way up, "Whymps Out" and traverses left past the other set, to find an easier crack just left of this. Peter Cooper led to the left set of cracks, but did the same. It was wet and greasy you understand!
