| Date: 16/12 Submitted by: Alan Tees Big crowd were at Malin on a fine but ciold day for an abseil, (or what might betide. ) An intro ab was set up, and a more serious one, down the back of a free standing "cigar" of rock, slightly detached from the main face. As everyone else was going down, Marty (of course)was coming up. Then there were double abseils, frontward abseils wth double axel and twist, classic abseils etc etc. George and Bill got bored and went off to climb Stookanillar. Having successfully summitted, a rescue expedition was summoned to get them down. Meanwhile Margaret, Mary, Ken & Dennis Golden headed off to the Five fingers Strand. Panpatia meeting afterwards, and a pint in McGrorys. Fine day. |
