Canadian Rockies |
Date: July 2005 Submitted by: Alan Tees Marty, self and wives were off camping amongst the Grizzlies, and whilst there, managed a bit of climbing, most notably an ascent of the Eisenhower Tower- 12 pitches of 5.4. It seemed much harder! The highest alpine peaks were not in condition, but we got higher than anyone else this year so far, on Mt. Edith Cavell (100m from the top). Also rock climbed at Lake Louise and Cougar Creek at Canmore. Summitted Mt. Rundle and Whistler Peak and Indian Ridge, also did the Huber Alpine ledges at Lake O'Hara. Photos to follow. |
