Port na Sionnach |
| Date: 21 May 2006 Submitted by: Peter Cooper Alan Tees and myself made a trip a trip out to Port na Sionnach (next to Crummies Bay, itself below Dunree Fort, Inishowen). Margaret Tees was also along for views, leg-stretching and a to, handily, take a few photos. Alan led both of the climbs we did: Birthday Blues (S) and Vulpine (HS). Both climbs were far better than I expected. Port na Sionnach's routes look to be on poor loose rock but it is far more solid than it looks. We'll be back. |
