Day Out at Belshade |
| Date: 3/05/06 Submitted by: Dave Millar Myself (Dave Millar) and Ian Chesnutt decided to venture into Lough Belshade midweek despite an iffy enough forecast. After a dryish slog in from the Glascairns side we jumped on Land of Hearts Desire HVS 5a, 5a, 5a, 4c. The first three main pitches were generally in very good condition with only some mild greenery and seepage at the top of the second and third pitch. Its gets three stars in the guide and its is a quality line, well worth doing. We then ventured (optimistically) in search of new rock but to no great avail. All in all a good day out. |
