Titanic Slab/Alias Great Expectations |

Submitted by: Alan Tees I took a photo of this remarkable slab on the N.Mayo coast at Easter, and speculated about possible ways to access and climb it, not knowing that this had already been done even before I started to climb. Donal O'Murchu, who was at the Climbfest, kindly sent a report and photos of the first ascent, (entailing an overnight bivvy in a storm), which he did with Steve Young. |
