| Date: July 07 Submitted by: Alan Tees After a cold first week, the weather inproved, and a group of us including Vincent McAlinden and Cerry Kingston BARF, Con O'Shea, Liz and Eileen IMC, Mike, Majella and Mairead, Tralee MC, Margaret NWMC, Sandra, PJ and self Colmcillers, climbed a variety of things, including the Allalinhorn, The Weissmeiss, Lagginhorn, Jagihorn by a AD route and also by the Via Ferrata (Gerrys two boys Alan and Simon were amazing on this). Great party in the Dom hotel on Friday night, with fiddlers, whistle players, and the hotel ran out of drink. I really would recommend this to anyone, as apart from all the mountaineering, there are so many brilliant people in the MCI, and the friendships you make are just so rewarding! |
