When the weather is "caatt" part deux...Port

Date: 1st Dec.
Submitted by: Dave M

After a fine (cold) run up Reactain Moir a while back with Pete Cooper it was decided to try and get out  despite the cold wet wintery weather this past while. After consulting the OS map (and chatting to Alan) a few of us discovered a trail running down from the hill between Glencolmcille to Port. Myself and Mr Chesnutt decided to take a spin across with the bikes, parking Ians van in Glencolmcille and then biking up to the signal tower summit followed by a great downhill to Port with fine views of the bay below. Both of us then slogged up in the cold and wet up and back round to Glencolmcille relieved to be out of the cold and wet. All in all a fine day out and with a nice circuit also in Glenveagh a nice winter alternative....extreme ironing too hardcore!
