Scotland for the brave |

Everything above about 700meters had a decent covering and was quite well frozen. Spent a day on Stob Coire Easain and Stob something else nearby. A bit cloudy with a few snow showers. Another day was spent on Stob Ban in the Mamores in a bit of a blizzard but an enjoyable ridge climb in the conditions. We spent the rest of the evening in the Grog and Gruel where, after a few jars, we realised that we had seen no evidence of others out on the hills all weekend. Sunday however was a bright clear day and we climbed Bucachaille Etive Beag in Glencoe with a few others, before the mad rush back to Stranraer for the boat. |
