Quick climb in Glendo!

Date: 1st March 2008
Submitted by: Dave Millar
After viewing the forecast with interest  in the latter half of the week and the seeing a dryish sunny spell merging on the east of the country, myself and Valli descended On Glendalough to try a route. After no guide and a bit of advice from the locals we descedned on Quartz Gully, a fine VS to the left of the main face at the head of the valley. The rock was in great nick with dry conditions and great friction on the granite. Alas when we topped out the rain started so it was off to Laragh for a pint. Great venue and with what looked like more boulderers than climbers these days, popular spot.
