| Date: 20/12/08 Submitted by: Alan Tees As usual we picked a dire day, but as usual it was great! The drop off Knockmore, Co Fermanagh looked terrifying through the mist, and I doubted that 100m of rope would do it, but mist is misleading, and it was plenty long enough! We welcomed two new faces Kiva and Joan, and the reappearence of an older face in Marty (nice to see him out again). Impressive cliff, and impressive hospitality from PJ and Peter afterwards. Thanks to them. For the Panpatia group, I have been asked to write a piece for the American Alpine Journal (by Lindsay Griffin no less). Fame at last! |
