NORTH POLE TO SOUTH POLE EXPEDITION

Arrived at north pole dressed in shorts and light waterproof in terrible weather.Set off under own steam without back-up carrying only jelly babies, fig rolls,  lucozade sport sunglasses and sudocream. 4 days later, sudocream all used up, arrived at South Pole with farmers tan!!

(North Pole Bar on Inishowen, 340 miles to Tom Creans South Pole bar outside Dingle on a bike, Alpine training apparently. Now walking like John Wayne, which I'm told is best practise for crampon work). Require quite a bit of rehydration on arrival.

Wow, impressed. Was it just yourself? If you'd put out a message I'm sure some folks may have gone the whole way with you or travelled bits with you. I have an antique Mtn bike, I'd have done Inishowen with you. Well done. Are you cycling to the Alps?
