The Hillwalker Strikes Back

Location: Culdaff (Dunmore Head) Left Crags.
Grade: HS 4b

First ascent: A Tees, G Colhoun (7/89)

Route Description:

This route climbs the wall left of the taller, left-hand corner of Black Perception. "The Hillwalker Strikes Back",starts at the left- centre of the steep, juggy wall. Climb up steeply rightwards to three big projecting steps. above this, the angle eases, until you get to obvious cracks. Move up past cracks to gain the arete. Exposed, but easy, climbing up some dubious rocky steps to the top.

I know you are not going to believe this but Marty asked me to give this a clean, and I always listen to Marty. It is a bit dirty in places right now, but looks a brilliant route, and worth a visit in 2016.
