Climbfest 2026
May 1 - May 4
Climbfest will be held this year on the usual May bank holiday weekend May 1st to 4th with base at Culdaff and with climbing at both Culdaff and further afield around the Inishowen peninsula such as Malin Head, Port a Doris, Warm Bay Point, Isle of Doagh…
Registration will be a the club campsite. The cost is 20 euro for club members, 10 euro for kids and 30 euro for non club members. Cost includes access to the club campsite, toilets and related events plus a first-come first-served surprise giveaway (!).
Camping is available at the club campsite and there is some space for campervans at Bonagee Pier. There will be the usual Climbfest campfire BBQ evening on the Saturday and a talk from Frank Nugent and Paddy O’Brien on their adventures in the Antarctic on Sunday evening in McGrorys in Culdaff.
