Route Description:

Goes up through the overlaps a couple of metres left of "Help the Aged".

Step it up, Malin Head, May 2006 - Peter Cooper re-climbing 'Step It Up' (1st done 2005), following a hold-ripping-off 2nd by Brian Wingham. Geoff T. and Donna R. did the 2nd and found it to be E1 5b.

Don't know who submitted this, but route climbed 2005 at HVS 5a. Brian Wingham subsequently ripped off the good hold below the overlap. I re-climbed this (2006), with G.Thomas and D.Ryan, and felt the grade now to be about E1 5b. Brian Wingham has the route left again, which takes the rightward trending crack up to the overlap; G.Thomas got 2nd ascent 2006.
