Congrats Ian, you got a cherry there. In summer this climb (North Rib) is called Tower Ridge (See Irish Mountain Log Issue 55 Autumn 2000). The 2nd Tower (the Staircase) is the main crux and not for the faint hearted and I'm not suprised you had diff getting over it. Its a great route in dry and non windy conditions. |

This route was in perfect condition on date climbed above, get on it ASAP it is a superb climb to Donegal's highest summit! |
