| Route Description: |
At it's Western end, the "Far west Buttress" terminates into a big daddy of a sea cave/tunnel. On the seaward wall of the cave, climb the inverted ridge with considerable atmosphere. Pitch 1. 6m From sea level climb the left trending hand crack to the right hand end of a superb non tidal ledge. Pitch 2. 25m 4a Traverse out left along the ledge until you are overlooking the void. Circumnavigate the void on jugs and superb rock/gear, keep overlooking the void as you ascend for full effect. A superb pitch. |

A 3 star sev, it could become a new trade route. Happy to get more feedback on this one. I never noticed it while taking photos and taking good peek at the overhanging wall below (a few yrs back). |

Great fun on the sea-level traverse [not in photo] to gain access to start of route. Dare I say the first "Miller-Free" ascent :) Ian was on the camcorder. |

Miller, you bugger, stop adding new routes to Cruit, until after the Climbfest, I've enough topo work to do! Trying to get it off to printers for the start of this coming week. Seriously though, good effort. Are you certain about the number of stars for this route? |
