S 4a Length: 50m D Stelfox, R Fenlan, V McAlinden Oct 2007 Abseil directly down Stelfox Slab, on its East side, to a small ledge well above the sea (usually huge swells) and climb back up the crack and groove, taking the right angled corner to the left at the top, as the lesser of two evils! A very solid route. Consistent climbing and protection from the off. Be cautious of abseiling all the way to the bottom platform as it can be extremely slippery and difficult to escape from!

Des and I did an alternate finish. When you would move left to go into the corner, go up and right to finish to the right of the large flake/pinnacle. Less loose rock and same grade as original.

If you enjoyed being on Stelfox slab I thoroughly recommend "Rebel Yell" with loads of protection

Lovely & crimpy in places with good feet, great ab down and superb setting/atmopshere

Alan Tees - 26/03/2012
I think this is a lovely severe, and so does Valli, so it must be (well, except the top bit maybe).
