Route Description:

Start up 'Skua' but rather than heading for the shallow corner, veer left into the line of weakness up the steep wall just right of 'Laurentic'. Small holds and good wires. Wolfepak U-80 just misses 'Laurentic' (which it didnt in 1917, and the wreck lies in the mouth of the Swilly).

Its easy to become enthused with your latest creation, will downgrade to one star, and await a second opinion next year when clean. Was thinking about this- maybe we should have a protocol here. See FORUM!

I agree with the 4b grade but Alan and I discussed its star quality and agreed to disagree! A nice route but i think 1 star would be right as not a particularily compelling line. On the plus side the rock is pretty good
