Route Description:

The obvious deep gully at the left-hand end of The Castle containing some particularly savage grass sections.

Of historical note: this was not only the Glen's but Donegal's first recorded rock climb. They were also the first into Lough Belshade - nearly cracking the main buttress too. Does anybody have info on either of these climbers? They were also Mournes pioneers, they belonged to the Belfast Section of the IMC in the 50s'.
