I went to climb this at the climbfest and decided to do the much less menacing looking HVS Protection City to the right of the big Ledge! This route definitely felt bolder and less secure than the HVS away from the ledge so I suppose something must of fell from it recently.

Definitely a HVS. Plus the protection @ the crux is a bit on the dodgy side.

Agreed I managed to get up this few years back and got well spanked at the crux. HVS is probably more accurate. The rock in this zawn can be fairly suspect, helmets are highly recommended, there have been at lest 3 accidents that I know of in here over the past few years - be careful!

We tried this route on a Climb Fest 2012 but found it impossible to do and switched to Protection city on a crack that forks to the right (easy HVS, good fun). Tried again on top rope and only just managed to get over the crux on a plain slab after the crack forks to the left. Some rocks must have fallen away from the route, it's more likely HVS in the moment.

I seconded this climb on 04/11/07. Good moves near the end and great protection up to 2/3 height. Last 1/3 of the climb is on less reliable rock, which is a shame as there is where the good moves are! Still strongly recommended
