Route Description:

Start: 10m from the left edge of the buttress is a 10m high flat topped pillar, separated from the crag by a deep crack. Start at the foot of this. Up the crack to the top of the pillar. Continue up the obvious crack above and then trend left up the line of weakness in the slab.

We done this following the line as you say for roughly where route two is shown. we thought it a good route and cleaned it a wee bit more. worth a star

If this folows the obvious eroded groove fom the top of the pillar, the line on the guide book topo appears too far left, and the route is more or less that shown as "Route Two". A bit necky for a modern severe!
