A generous 10m! Given e6 6a in the old guidebook. Checked it out on abseil two nights ago and now wish I hadn\'t. Well protected throughout its short length but would be a tough nut to onsight. Superb moves with a spectacularly beautiful intermediate pinch hold, probably the best of its type I\'ve ever squeezed on a route. Absolutely not Inishowens biggest lead! And probably more like 6b than 6a. E4 6b? Really enjoyed this wee route. Wonder if the boulders were always there at the bottom or if they are a more recent winter storm addition? Would be so much better without them there as the crack runs all the way to the ground. Nice find Paul! |
