| Date: 6 November 2011 Submitted by: Alfie Conn At last - a dry albeit cool Sunday. A short drive to Malin Head a nd a trudge to the Devils Bridge area. A particularily inept piece of abseilling had me in one piece and nearly at sea level. A quick look at possible escapes prompted me to take an easy but rather exposed chimney. Luckily the wind had got up enough to avoid us doing anything serious and the nearby "Sea Area Malin" provided a sheltered face and an easy second route of the day. By now it was already time to head home but on the way Trevor utilized modern technology to help find "Uncle Montys area". The GPS was of no help since the grid reference given was in my opinion "b...sh..". However more investigation revealled that it does indeed exist and the GPS grid for it is C38195884.
