Winter Meet January 20-21st
Connemara meet up is to be re-scheduled. Due to wet and windy forecast for both Saturday and Sunday, and continuing lack of choice of hostel accommodation, most (all) have decided not to go to Letterfrack. The weather appears to be universally grim throughout the country, but for those with January cabin fever there is an alternative (if you have a van). Climbfest 2024
The 2024 Climbfest will take place at Malin Head on 3rd – 6th May The 2024 Climbfest will be on the usual Mayday bank holiday weekend 3-6 May at Malin Head. Climbing will be centred on the sea cliffs west of Bamba’s Crown (the tower at Malin Head carpark). Aghill Beg Climb Weekend
This will be an exploratory visit to Achill Beg on the weekend of August 9th,10th,11th. The organiser is club member Paddy O'Brien. One climb was recorded, a 3 pitch E1 led by Tom Ryan in the 90's. The plan is to travel over to the island on Friday using a local with a rib and return on Sunday.
