Sea Ward Face Route

Location: Sea Stacks and Pinnacles

Route Description:
Grid Reference B868463. This route climbs the seaward face of the largest and central stack of the trio North of the Tower on the Island of Tory. Access is by a 50 mtr abseil and a superb wee sea passage.
  1. 4a, 20m. From the seaward end of the channel between this stack and the beast to the south, climb cracks up left of the sealevelplatform and a steapening, step up and right to belay at base of chimney.
  2. 25m. Climb the clean rib to the summit.

Rock quality on all 4 of the Tory stacks is perfect, solid granite. The slab & Arete to right on above stack await your attention!

That should, of course be the arete to the left of the slab, the one to the right is the route described.

Are there any routes up the main slab in the photo above. What is the rock quality like? It looks interesting!
