| Just left of Aries is a small triangular niche at about 3m. (Directly above a low overhang). Bridge up to the niche and stretch to gain a good hold. Continue up over rocking flake and as difficulties ease, bear right to avoid vegetation.

Hi Pete, yeah thats what I was wondering if the route had changed. I remember climbing this with andy shortly after he had done it and don't remember it being too hard and E1 5a would certainly have been at the upper limit of what I could have done then (and still is :)). I'm sure its been done numerous times since so Im not querying the grade just wondering... |

Didn't this used to be VS? Pretty sure I did the 2nd or 3rd ascent of this in 99. Can't remember much about it but why the upgrade? |

I didn't upgrade this one, but I had a go at this a few years back and found it a right fight. Alan Tees pointed me at it and I was rather taken abck when he told me it was Andy's lead and 'only VS'. Perhaps you could take another look at it when your next out, perhaps something fell off it; I recall an undercut start. |
