Route Description:
Grid Ref G544898. Climb the landward face by a huge grass and scree scramble to the monster summit plateau. Access is by a long and emotional paddle from the Port road end.

The first edition of the ordnance survey maps c.1835 show two sheep pens on the top.

There is a 3 foot length of ancient 2 X 2 hammered into the summit plateau in a very easy to miss and in a very unusual and dangerous location.

Was there a bolt on top? How'd you know there was a previous ascent Iain?
