The problem with this being a new climbers first VS is that it may lead them to believe that Flying Enterprise is viable for them afterwards, and as you well know, FE is a completely different and more serious proposition. The possible consequences dont bear thinking about

It has always been known as a "Soft Touch" VS (like Peapod)and is often a new climber's first route at that grade, and that gives them a buzz. I would agree with you, but I think it has its place in the scheme of things. |

HS 4b more accurate. You can sitch this route with as much gear as you can carry, therefore never VS at tech 4b |
